The Ministry of Digital Development and Roskomnadzor have announced new regulations for managing the list of channels and pages on social media platforms with over 10,000 followers. The updated registry will encompass channels on various platforms including Likee, Tiktok, YouTube, VKontakte, Odnoklassniki, Telegram, Livejournal, Picabu, Pinterest, Rutube, Zen, Twitch, Discord, and Yappy. The goal of these measures, according to the departments, is to enhance user protection against online scammers and enhance the visibility of advertising on social networks.
