Panasonic introduced artificial intelligence imitating the identity of the founder of Konosuke Matsuis. The idea of creating a virtual image of Matsuits is explained by a reduction in the number of employees personally trained by him. The company considers it important to preserve and convey the philosophy of the Matsuits to the next generation.
For the training of the model, more than 3,000 records with the participation of Matsuits, as well as his books, lectures and interviews, digitized by the PHP Institute, were used. The development of AI was engaged in Panasonic together with the Institute of Matsuo at the Tokyo University.
Panasonic noted that the project allows not only to preserve the legacy of the founder, but also helps users make managerial decisions based on the principles of Matsuits. It is also planned to create AI versions of students of Matsuits and researchers in order to expand the possibilities of using technology.
The project is based on the principles of “responsible AI”, where the key is respect for a person and his heritage. The created model allows you to reproduce the manner of speech, the logic and style of communication of the founder of the company.
Matsuit, who received the nickname “God’s Management” in Japan, has become a cult figure due to its leadership philosophy and the transformation of a small company that began with the sale of lamps to the world brand. Matsuit wrote more than 40 books that remain relevant for professionals.
In Japan, the project is unlikely to cause a negative reaction, since respect for the ancestors is an important part of the culture. In addition, the initiative strengthens the Panasonic position in the field of artificial intelligence, which is especially important in the conditions of active work on projects related to batteries for electric vehicles, hydrogen energy, digitalization of work processes and software for managing the supply chains.
