Russian Firm Hires 7-Year-Old Programmer

The Russian company Pro32, specializing in information security and software development, has extended a unique proposal to a seven-year-old programmer from St. Petersburg. Sergey, a young prodigy, has been offered the position of head of the corporate training department once he reaches the legal age to work.

At just five years old, Sergey began gaining popularity by posting educational videos on programming on YouTube. Focusing on Python, Unity programming languages, and neural networks, his tutorials have attracted over 3.5 thousand subscribers eager to learn about technology.

Sergey’s exceptional technical skills and ability to simplify complex topics have set him apart. His energetic and informative videos, available in both Russian and English, provide a step-by-step guide for beginners in programming. It is this talent for teaching that caught the attention of Pro32.

Pro32’s Executive Director, Igor Mandik, has likened Sergey to “Mozart of Programming,” praising his unique abilities. Mandik believes that Sergey not only excels as a developer but also possesses a rare gift for teaching, capable of inspiring professionals from various fields.

Despite legal restrictions in Russia preventing Sergey from officially working until the age of 14, Pro32 is in talks with his parents to explore potential collaborations to nurture and enhance his talent in the upcoming years.

Sergey’s father, Cyril, expressed his joy and pride in his son, eagerly awaiting the opportunity for Sergey to join the Pro32 team. While the discussions are informal at this stage, the proposal has already generated significant interest.

Pro32 believes that Sergey’s teaching methods could benefit employees across various departments within the company, including accounting and sales. His interdisciplinary approach to learning sets him apart as a remarkable individual.

Although the specifics of payment are still being negotiated, Pro32 is committed to offering competitive conditions in seven years, reflecting Sergey’s exceptional talent level. This story showcases how young prodigies can inspire an entire industry, illustrating how talent and passion can open doors to the world of high technology long before adulthood.
