L’Oreal Unveils Smart Skin Age Analyzer

French cosmetic corporation l’Oreal has unveiled a groundbreaking new gadget that aims to slow down the visible signs of skin aging. The device, known as L’Oreal Cell Bioprint, is capable of analyzing the condition of the skin and determining its biological age within just five minutes.

This cutting-edge technology focuses on studying the body proteins associated with skin aging in order to provide personalized care recommendations. Cell Bioprint can identify how sensitive the skin is to different ingredients, allowing users to transition from reactive to proactive skincare by predicting and preventing potential issues.

The device is incredibly user-friendly, requiring minimal effort on the part of the user. All that is needed is to apply a strip to the skin, apply a solution from the set, and place it in the device cartridge for analysis. Meanwhile, the user can take photos of their skin and complete a questionnaire to receive a more detailed report.

Developed in collaboration with the Korean company NanoEntek, which utilized its microanalysis technologies to measure L’Oreal proteins, this innovative gadget is set to be showcased at the CES 2025 exhibition. However, it remains unclear whether the device will be made available for sale to the public and at what price point.
