A controversial AI program known as CRUSHMATE (CRUSH AI) has been making headlines for its use of artificial intelligence to create naked images, leading to a surge in traffic driven by advertising on META platforms. Despite facing concerns over violating community standards, the program has been gaining momentum on popular social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram since September.
According to Data from similarweb, three domains associated with CRUSHMATE have collectively attracted around 240,000 users, accounting for approximately 90% of the total traffic. This significant influx of users has primarily originated from META platforms, despite the controversial nature of the AI-generated content.
It is worth noting that META and its products have been deemed extremist and are prohibited from operating within the Russian Federation, raising further questions about the ethics and regulations surrounding the dissemination of potentially harmful content through AI technologies.
