From January 21 to February 5, employees of IT companies will have the opportunity to request a postponement from military service through the Unified Portal of State Services (EPGU), similar to mincifers.
Citizens who are on military registration in the Far North and equivalent areas have an extended submission period until March 6.
Employers will be able to view the applications in their personal accounts and confirm them if the employee’s data meet the requirements. If the specialist fails to submit data on their own, the organization can include them in the list.
Companies must confirm employees and submit lists to Minzifra by February 9 (or by March 11 for the Far North). The department will then send the information to the Ministry of Defense by February 28 (or by March 31 for the Far North). Evaluation commissions will start reviewing applications from April 1 and complete the process by July 15 (from May 1 to July 15 in the Far North).
Who is eligible for a postponement:
- Russian citizenship, male gender, age between 18 and 30 years
- Higher education in an approved specialty
- Employment in an accredited IT company for at least 11 months in the last year (or within a year after graduation for university graduates)
- Contractual employment with a normal working day duration
Multiple lists can be submitted by one company as they are compiled.
