Radio station UVB -76, known as the “Zhuzhzhal” or “Judicial Day”, on December 11, transmitted a record number of messages per day – 24 encrypted messages. Radio amateurs claim that this is the largest broadcast in the history of the station.
Messages were broadcast from 9:09 to 17:24 and included combinations of numbers and code words. Among the transferred phrases there were such as “NZHI 54095 ABC 5075 8976” and “NZHTI 96094 billiards 0626 2407”. The last post of the day was sounded at 17:14: “Nzhty 51733 Brother -shaped 0683 5413”.
Information on the record transmission appeared in the community in VKontakte, which monitors the activities of the radio station. The publication notes that UVB-76, broadcasting at a frequency of 4625 kHz since Soviet times, was interrupted by a familiar buzzing signal for the “most verbose transmission.”
Radio station UVB-76 is known for its characteristic sound, for which it was called the “buzzing”. Most of the time on the wave is heard a buzzing on -duty signal, which is only sometimes interrupted into encrypted messages. At the moment, it remains unknown what such an active transmission was associated with, and also what numbers and code words mean.
