MiniOS 4.1 Distribution Released

The developers of Minios Linux have recently presented the release of the distribution minios 4.1, which is based on Debian and designed to work directly from a USB drive. The graphic environment of Minios 4.1 is built on XFCE. • Toolbox (amd64, 998 MB) – this edition is designed for experienced users who require an extended set of tools for diagnosing and recovering systems. In addition to the features of the Standard edition, Toolbox includes programs for system administration, network diagnostics, data recovery, and more. It supports various file systems and compression utilities, as well as virtualization based on Qemu-KVM.

  • Ultra (amd64, 1.5 GB) – this edition expands on the capabilities of the Toolbox edition by including office and multimedia applications like Libreoffice, GIMP, VLC, and Blender. It also features a Docker containerization platform and graphic utilities for package installation.
