Issue Wine 10.1

In a recent announcement on the official Wine website, the experimental release of the open implementation of Win32 API – Wine 10.1 has taken place. Following the release of version 10.0, 35 error reports have been closed and 342 changes have been made. The Wine project has adopted a new numbering scheme for its versions, with stable releases increasing the first digit in the version number (9.0.0, 10.0.0), and updates to stable releases indicated by a change in the third digit (10.0.1, 10.0.2, 10.0.3). Experimental versions, released in preparation for significant updates, have changes in the second number (10.1, 10.2, 10.3).

Some of the most significant changes in Wine 10.1 include improvements in the Crypt32 library for working with certificates. Issues related to updating certificates for Battle.net have been resolved. The Print Provider subsystem and the PRNTVPT library, used for working with printers and printing, have also been enhanced. Additionally, development on the Bluetooth driver continues with the addition of new calls for BluetoothGetradioinfo, Bluetoothisconnectable, and BluetoothisDiscoverable.

Support for the API version Vulkan 1.4.307 has been introduced, and Winecfg now supports UBR-containers (Update Build Revision). Various errors related to applications such as Gamemaker 8, Opengl Extensions Viewer 4.x, and Telegram, as well as games like Battlefield: Bad Company 2, Starcraft 2, and Heroes of Might and Magic III have been addressed in this release.
