The new generation of PT ngfw has made a significant advancement by getting all ten models registered in the unified register Ministry of Industry and Trade and in the Register of Russian Software (section “PAK”) of the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Communications. This registration solidifies the PT ngfw as a Russian inter-grid screen with the necessary degree of power of attorney, indicating that it is designed, developed, and manufactured in Russia.
The successful inclusion in the two registers demonstrates that PT ngfw has passed all regulatory inspections and met all necessary criteria. This achievement allows PT NGFW to protect the infrastructure of companies permitted to purchase equipment of exclusively Russian origin. These include state-owned departments and organizations, defense and nuclear industry, as well as transport, telecommunications, credit and financial companies, among others. Anna Comschees, the head of the PT NGFW product practice, highlighted the importance of this milestone in ensuring the security of critical infrastructure.
PT NGFW stands out as the first and currently only solution in its class to be certified according to the new requirements of the Federal Service for Technical and Export Control (FSTEC of Russia) for multifunctional inter-sections at the network level. This certification further establishes the reliability and security of PT ngfw in safeguarding networks from potential threats.
