The release of desktop-renovation Trinity R14.1.4 has been announced, marking the development continuation of the code base KDE 3.5.x and Qt 3. Binary packages are being prepared for Ubuntu, Debian, RHEL/CentOS, Fedora, openSUSE, and other distributions.
Trinity features tools for managing screen parameters based on the UDEV layer for equipment, a new equipment setup interface, a transition to a composite manager of Compton-TDE, an improved network configurator, and user authentication mechanisms. It can be used concurrently with newer KDE releases and supports the use of already installed KDE applications. Additionally, Trinity ensures the correct display of GTK program interfaces without compromising the design style.

Among the changes:
- A module has been added to the configurator for managing alternative packages in distributors using DEB and RPM formats (e.g. GCC or Clang).
