Microsoft Submitted the new voice assistant Dragon Copilot for the healthcare industry. This tool combines DRAGON MEDICAL ONE dictation functions and DAX Copilot record technologies to assist doctors in processing documentation.
Dragon Copilot automatically generates doctor’s notes, instructions, summaries, and other documents. The DAX Copilot solution has already been utilized in 3 million consultations over the past month across 600 medical institutions. Competitors in this field include ABRIDGE and suki, offering similar AI solutions for medical records maintenance.
Key Features of Dragon Copilot:

- Voice command support, allowing doctors to edit recordings, request information, clarify symptoms, and add ICD-10 codes with Dragon Copilot sourcing information from reliable references.

The new assistant has undergone testing by doctors in the Wellspan Health network, which comprises 250 clinics and 9 hospitals. While the cost of the new assistant was not disclosed, Microsoft assured that the pricing strategy would be competitive. Existing users will have a simplified transition to Dragon Copilot. The official launch in the USA and Canada is scheduled for May, followed by availability in the UK, the Netherlands, France, and Germany.
