Firefox 136.0.1: Old Add-Ons Signature Expiry

In a corrective release, Firefox 136.0.1 has fixed an issue related to the incorrect limit of the size of the COOKIE. Previously, the maximum size was set at 1024 bytes instead of 4096, causing failures on sites using the cookies API to manage cookies. Additionally, an error that prevented the Ctrl+L key combination from transferring focus to the target line in new windows has been resolved.

Mozilla has issued a warning regarding the expiration of the root certificate’s validity on March 14. This certificate is used to certify add-ons with a digital signature. To continue using established add-ons, users must update their browser to Firefox versions 136, 128 ESR, or 115.13+ ESR. After March 14, users of older Firefox versions will not be able to use their add-ons as they will be deactivated.
