Modern War is impossible without drones, and the armies of the whole world are looking for effective ways to deal with them. The American company dzyne technologies responded to this challenge by introducing a compact set of Dronebuster DTIM at the IDEX International OAE OAE. This is the first system of electronic warfare system that can suppress the Navigation signals GNSS.
GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) is a common name for all satellite navigation systems, including American GPS, Russian GLONASS, European Galileo and Chinese Beidou. The ability to jerk their signals is especially important, since modern autonomous drones actively use satellite navigation.
A lightweight weight weighing less than 4 kilograms was designed specifically for the US Army – the military needs funds with which every soldier will be able to independently detect and neutralize enemy drones. The set includes two main elements: the Dronebuster suppression device and the DTI unit (Detection, Tracking, Identification – detection, tracking and identification).
Dronebuster muffler exists in two versions: the base model 4 and the European 4-EU, adapted to the local standards of small radius devices.
DTI block greatly expands the tactical capabilities of the soldiers on the battlefield. It is equipped with a GPS module and works with various accessories, including headsets. The developers made management as simple as possible – the military will not have to understand complex settings during the battle.
The assigned antennas of the kit detect the drones at a distance of up to 7 kilometers in the frequency range from 400 MHz to 6 GHz. The system instantly informs the operator about the discovered threat using vibration, sound and light signals. At the same time, the soldier can move freely – the antennas work in any direction and do not require accurate guidance.
To find and track the drone, Dronebuster uses Remote ID and Aeroscope technologies, as well as a radio frequency diaper. It accurately determines the coordinates of the target without the need to turn 360 degrees, which is especially important in a dynamic battle. In real time, data are displayed on the TAK tactical tablet or built-in screen.
Artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms automatically check the noticed drones with a constantly updated database and intuitively determine their type. This means that the military can focus on performing the task without wasting time to identify threats.
