Developer Kent Overstreet, of FS Bcachefs, has submitted a pull-request containing corrections for bcachefs, which are proposed for inclusion in the branch 6.14-RC3. The message also announced the stabilization of the Bcachefs discount format. Any future changes to the format will be considered optional and implemented as additional features.
Among the corrections mentioned in the pull-request are improvements for read-only mode performance, fixing an issue related to accessing memory after it has been released (use after free), resolving problems with reflink references in FSCK, and correcting the re-trial processing of transactions.
