In a recent meeting with the general director of Mosfilm, Karen Shakhnazarov, Russian President Vladimir Putin promised to address the issue of the slowdown in the operation of the YouTube video service in Russia. Shakhnazarov discussed the matter with the President at the Kremlin on November 13, as reported on “Russia 1”.
Shakhnazarov expressed his concern about the current slowdown of YouTube, deeming it as “not very appropriate.” In response, President Putin acknowledged the presence of “dirty tricks” on the platform and assured that he would investigate the issue. He stated, “I will figure it out, I will look.”
However, Shakhnazarov clarified to TASS that there has been no specific decision made yet. He mentioned, “I do not know his final decision. We have one information, the president has a lot of information, so he did not say the final decision. I expressed his opinion to him, he said that he would see.”
