In the first half of 2024, 9,341 fraudulent sites were blocked, which is almost 19 times higher than the indicators for the same period of the previous year.

Fishing also poses a serious threat, although its popularity is inferior to a bench. In 2023, nearly 16,000 phishing sites were blocked, which impersonate the pages of authorization, purchase or return of funds. In the first half of 2024, 3,621 phishing sites were blocked.
One of the examples of a fig site included a site with the sale of goods. Fraudsters contacted clients under the guise of providing discounts or solving problems with an order, generated phishing links using Telegram boots and asked to enter the bank card data for payment. After payment, there was a risk of writing off all funds from the card.

According to F.A.C.C.T. analysts, in the first half of 2024 the number of groups and accounts in messengers and social networks that attract the audience to fraudulent sites increased sharply. 1,632 posts and groups were blocked, which is almost 7 times more than for the entire 2023.
