FINNIX 126: Live Distro for System Admins Released

After more than a year of development, Finnix has released version 126 of its Live-Distribution.
The distribution, based on the Debian package base, is designed to work only in the console but offers a wide selection of utilities for administrators. The ISO image of the release is 498 Mb and includes more than 600 packages with various utilities. In this new version of Finnix 126: The package base has been synchronized with the Debian repository. The Linux kernel has been updated to branch 6.8. The LIBC6-I386 package has been included to support running some 32-bit executable files in the 64-bit environment of Finnix. An option for the kernel command line ‘0’ has been added, similar to the ‘Locale-config’ script but at the initial stage of loading. Github Actions are used in the assembly of the release.
