Stability AI, a company specializing in generative artificial intelligence, made a significant announcement regarding new investments and changes in leadership aimed at advancing the development of its products for text-to-image conversion.
The news was unveiled on Tuesday, June 25, with the company revealing that notable investors such as Greycroft, Coatue Management, Sean Parker (former Facebook president), and Proskaraj (former Weta Digital Director General) have joined in funding. Sean Parker will take on the role of executive chairman, while Akkaraj will assume the position of general director within the company. Other investors include Eric Schmidt (former head of Google and Novell) and Robert Nelsen, a seasoned investor with shares in numerous billion-dollar companies.
