VMware Workstation and Fusion Products Vulnerable to Serious Security Flaws
Recently, VMware Workstation and Fusion products have been found to have four serious vulnerabilities that could potentially be exploited by attackers to obtain confidential information and create conditions for conducting malicious activities.
One of the vulnerabilities identified is related to DOS (Disk Operating System), an operating system that was widely used in the 1980s and early 1990s. DOS was primarily designed to manage operations with hard drives and other data storage devices, such as floppy disks. It operates through a command line interface, enabling users to enter commands in a clear and specific computer language. Through these commands, users can execute applications, navigate the file system, create and delete files, format disks, and perform various other functions.
