Oracle has recently announced the release of the corrective version of their virtualization system, Virtualbox 7.0.18 . This update includes three key corrections to improve the functionality of the software.
The first correction addresses an error in the network components that caused issues when using Virtualbox 7.0.16. Due to this error, users were advised not to install this version as it led to system crashes on the host when working with virtual machines configured with network bridges or using a network adapter that operated solely on the host side.
The second correction focuses on resolving UBSAN warnings (UndEfined Behavior Sanitizer) in guest systems running on Linux. By making these corrections, Oracle aims to enhance the stability and performance of Virtualbox for Linux users.
Lastly, improvements have been made to address problems related to displaying incorrect time in the Smont Folder for guest systems running on Linux. These enhancements aim to provide a more seamless and accurate user experience for Linux users utilizing Virtualbox.
