Project Fedora presented the ultrabook Fedora Slimbook 2, available in options with 14- and 16-inch screens. The device is a modernized version of past models supplied with 14- and 16-inch screens. Differences are also manifested in the use of the CPU Intel 13 Gen i7, the use of the NVIDIA RTX 4000 graphics card in the with a 16-inch screen and the availability for ordering a silver or black case made of magnesium or aluminum alloy. The laptop was prepared together with the Spanish supplier of the equipment Slimbook.
Fedora Slimbook is optimized for the distribution of Fedora Linux 40 and is specially tested to achieve a high level of environmental stability and compatibility of software with equipment. The initial cost of a device with a 14-inch screen was declared 1399 euros, and 16-inch-1799 euros, while 3% of the revenue from the sale of devices are planned to be sent as a donation by GNOME Foundation. Fedora development participants are given a discount of €100.

- 1080 HD Webcam with two microphones to record stereo sound.
- Infrared Web-camera for biometric face recognition.
