NVIDIA has unveiled the latest generation of mobile video cards, the RTX 500 and 1000, based on the ADA LoveLace architecture. These powerful GPUs are designed to significantly accelerate artificial intelligence and provide outstanding graphic performance in portable devices.
The announcement was made ahead of the Mobile World Congress event in Barcelona, as the demand for powerful mobile solutions has increased with the integration of generative AI and hybrid infrastructure across various industries. The RTX 500 and 1000 video cards are set to meet this growing demand.
These new GPUs will be featured in upcoming mobile workstations, expanding NVIDIA’s product line on the ADA LoveLace architecture. The previous series included mobile GPUs RTX 2000, 3000, 3500, 4000, and 5000.
The next generation of mobile workstations with ADA LoveLace GPUs will incorporate a neuron processor (NPU) within the central processor (CPU) along with NVIDIA RTX video cards equipped with tensor cores for advanced AI processing, allowing for up to 682 tera operations per second.
The increased performance provided by the new video cards will enable high-quality video conferences, AI-powered video scaling, faster content generation, and more efficient application operations.
The RTX 500 graphics card is expected to deliver up to 14 times the performance of generative AI models, 3 times faster photo editing with neural networks, and over a 10-fold increase in 3D rendering speed compared to a CPU-only configuration.
These GPUs will also reduce noise, improve image scaling, and enhance video chat and broadcasts. NVIDIA offers a full lineup of GPUs from the ADA LoveLace series, catering to the needs of 3D graphics, AI businesses, and data analysis researchers.
The ADA LoveLace architecture has enabled key technologies for slim and compact laptops, such as third-generation ray tracing cores, fourth-generation tensor cores, and high-performance CUDA cores. The cards also feature high-speed memory, DLSS 3 image scaling technology, and AV1 codec.
The release of the new mobile video cards NVIDIA RTX 500 and 1000, based on the ADA LoveLace architecture, is set for spring this year. They will be available in mobile workstations from global manufacturers like Dell Technologies, HP, Lenovo, and MSI.
