In a recent announcement, Jonathan Riddell, the former leader of the Kubuntu project and current distributor of KDE Neon, revealed the launch of the new set of icons called Oxygen 6, designed specifically for KDE 6. These icons, developed for KDE, can also be utilized in any applications and user environments that align with the specifications of the XDG (Freedesktop X Desktop Group). Although the set is part of KDE Frameworks 6, it is being released separately. To assemble Oxygen 6, the Extra-Cmake-Modules package will be required, and it is set to be released along with KDE Frameworks 6 next week.
