Nitrux 3.3.0 Release Announcement
Nitrux has published the distribution Nitrux 3.3.0, built on the package base of Debian, KDE technologies, and the initialization system openrc. The project offers its own desktop nx desktop, which is a superstructure over KDE Plasma. On the basis of the library mauikit for the distribution, set typical user applications is developing, which can be used both on desktop systems and on mobile devices. To install additional applications, a system of self-sufficient Appimages packages is moving. The size of the full loading image is 3.5 GB. The projects of the project are distributed under free licenses.
The NX Desktop desktop offers a different style design, its own implementation of the system tray, the notification output center, and various plasmoids, such as the configurator of network connections and the multimedia applet to regulate the volume and control of the playback of multimedia content. From applications created using the framework mauikit, you can note the Index file manager (can be used by Dolphin), Note text editor, Station terminal emulator, VVAVE Musical player, CLIP video player, NX Software Center application control center, and PIX Viewer.
