The OPNSENSE 24.1 distribution, a branch of the PFSENSE project, has been released for the creation of inter-grinding screens and network gateways (source). Developed with the direct participation of the community, OPNSENSE 24.1 is a completely open distribution that offers functionality at the level of commercial solutions (OPNSENSE). Unlike PFSENSE, this project is not controlled by a single company and promotes transparency in its development process.
