Juniper Releases Updates to Fix Critical Vulnerability in SRX Series Firewalls and EX Switches
Juniper released updates to eliminate the critical vulnerability of the remote execution of code (RCE) in their firewalls of the Juniper series SRX and switches of the Juniper Ex.
The vulnerability, identified as CVE-2024-21591, is rated at 9.8 on the CVSS scale. According to the company’s official message, “The vulnerability of the recording outside the selected block in J-Web Juniper Networks Junos OS SRX and Ex EX allows a non-amended attacker to cause a refusal to maintain (DOS) the system.”
