Aroma Join presented a unique development – the columns “Aroma Speaker 60”, which can play not only sound, but also more than 100 different aromas. The peculiarity of these devices is that developers can configure aromas individually using a special set for aromas development (SDK). This allows you to create unique impressions by combining a video with a smell and reaching a new level of immersion in media content.
At the first acquaintance with the technology at the showstoppers exhibition, the strong aroma of salty caramel emanating from the device attracted attention. The columns “Aroma Speaker 60” are immediately striking in their stylish design in glossy red color and are able to transmit fragrances to a distance of up to 2 meters.
The concept of the device responds to the need for deeper immersion in digital reality, such as metavselnaya, which are still limited mainly to the audience and sound sensations. “Aroma Speaker 60” adds a new dimension – the smell, which allows the brain to perceive the virtual space more fully.
The device uses a unique technology to create aromas. In each column there are 10 modules with 6 cartridges containing essential oils. These components allow you to reproduce up to 60 different aromas. Columns can quickly change aromas depending on the scenes on the screen, creating realistic sensations, for example, on the smell of freshly chopped grass to the smoke of a contaminated city.
So far, “Aroma Speaker 60” is not sold, but Aroma Join offers them as a conceptual product for attracting developers and marketers. The company provides an open application and SDK to create its own aromatic profiles for video content. The company also sells an accessory for the virtual reality “Aroma Shooter Wearable 3”, which is worn on the neck and works in pairs with such headset as Meta Quest 3, making immersion in a more multifaceted and tangible.
