The release of the distribution for creating routers and inter-grid screens ipfire 2.27 core 182 has been published. IPFire is known for its simple installation process and the organization of settings through an intuitive Web-interface that includes visual graphs. The size of the installation ISO-image is 423MB (x86_64, Aarch64).
The modular system, in addition to basic packet filtration and traffic management functions, provides various modules for ipfire. These modules include systems to prevent attacks based on Suricata, file servers (Samba, FTP, NFS), mail servers (Cyrus-IMAPD, POSTFIX, SpamASSSINSSINA, Clamav, and Openmailadmin), print servers (CUPS), VOIP gateways based on Asterisk and TeamSpeak, wireless access points, and streaming audio and video servers (MPFire, Videolan, ICECAST, GNUMP3D, VDR). IPFire uses a special package manager called Pakfire for installing additions.
