Anglo-Australian actress Olivia Newton-John, who has become a planetary star by playing the character of Sandy in the cult film Grease alongside John Travolta, died at 73, announced her husband on Monday, August 8, in a press release published on social networks .
The actress “died peacefully in her ranch in Southern California this morning, surrounded by her family and friends,” said the press release. She had been fighting for thirty years against breast cancer.
