Argentina, who had never won in New Zealand, caused a sensation on Saturday, winning 25-18 in Christchurch, during the third day of rugby championship, making the mandate vacillate a little more of the all black coach, Ian Foster, with six defeats in nine games, including three at home.
Despite a victory two weeks ago in Johannesburg against South Africa (35-23), the New Zealand team plunges back into the crisis one year from the World Cup in France. The All Blacks were beaten in turn by France, by Ireland, on several occasions, then by South Africa (26-10) and now by Argentina.
Six goals For Emiliano Boffelli
This is, however, an important victory for Argentina, largely due to the scorer Emiliano Boffelli, who marked six penalties. Two weeks after winning at home against Australia, the Pumas keep themselves at the top of this competition bringing together the best nations of the southern hemisphere.
In the other match of the day, Australia reassured itself by dominating South Africa 25-17. The fourth day, next Saturday, will present the same posters.
