Red Hat will not supply GTK 2 in RHEL 10

Red Hat O O https://github.com/minimization/content- believeer-input/commit/b6d4496f46bd244444444444444DD3E911326817ACK GTK 2 libraries, starting with the next Red Hat Hat EngTERPRISE branch. The GTK2 package will not be included in the RHEL 10 release, in which only support for GTK 3 and GTK 4 will remain. The reasons for the removal of GTK 2 are called the obsolescence of Tulkin and the lack of support for modern technologies such as Wayland, Hidpi and HDR.

It is assumed that the programs that remain tied to GTK 2, for example, GIMP, will have time to switch to new GTK branches until 2025, which is expected to release RHEL 10. In Ubuntu 22.04 504, Libgtk2 is used as a dependence.
