Eric Dupond-Moretti announced, Monday, September 12, that the salaries of judicial judges would be increased on average by 1,000 euros gross per month, a revaluation, according to him, “unpublished” and “considerable” aimed at aligning their remuneration on that of administrative magistrates. The Minister of Justice thus claims to want to put an end to “years of abandonment” and attack the problems of “attractiveness” of the judicial order.

“I want the magistrates of the judicial order to be paid as the magistrates of the administrative order”, explained on BFM -TV The Minister, who must detail this measure during the new cycle of discussions on the States General of Justice which opens this Monday. The increase will be “the order of 1,000 euros gross on average” per month, added the Keeper of the Seals, which did not specify the calendar or the cost of this measure.
