Of these hundred three individuals, ninety-three have been arrested for “participation in a group with a view to committing violence or damage”, three for voluntary degradations, three for outrage and rebellion and four for violence at the ‘Contrary to the police. In addition, the prefecture reported fifty-four verbalizations.

From November 2018, the “yellow vests” led several months of struggle, meeting every Saturday on roundabouts across France and during sometimes violent rallies. Between the first Saturday of demonstrations and June 30, 2019, that is to say during the most intense seven months of demonstrations, more than 10,000 people were selected and heard in police custody.
