Traffic will be disrupted, Thursday, September 29, on TER lines, Transilien in Ile-de-France, Intercités and Ouigo due to an interprofessional mobilization day at the call of the General Confederation of Labor (CGT) , from the unitary union federation (FSU), solidarity and youth organizations, the SNCF said on Wednesday. This strike movement relates only to Thursday, with the watchword: “Increase wages, not retirement age.” At SNCF, three unions out of four (CGT-Cheminots, South-Rail and CFDT-Cheminots) call for strike. The Unsa-Ferrovia is not joined by the movement.
Only one in two train will, on average, run on intercity links; Some of them will be completely interrupted, such as between Lyon and Nantes or Toulouse and Hendaye. Night intercities will not circulate.
Regarding TER regional traffic, the SNCF announces that it is able to drive six trains out of ten, on average, with disparities according to the region. “Customers are invited to find out about the circulation of their train on the SNCF app and their TER site,” said the public railway company.

Three OUIGO on four will circulate
In the Paris region, certain lines will be strongly disrupted, such as the northern section of the RER B, where only one in two train will circulate. On the southern section, operated by the RATP, there will be three trains out of four.
Other lines affected with only 50 % service: RER D, as well as the N and R lines of the Transilien. Elsewhere, there are two out of three trains on line J and three out of four on line H and the RER C. On the other lines operated by the SNCF in Ile-de-France, the traffic will be normal.
It will be the same for the Inoui TGVs, where the disturbances promise to be minimal, with only a few trains canceled here or there. Only the Ouigo is disturbed with the circulation of three trains out of four.

At the beginning of July, the management of the SNCF granted a first increase to its employees, who had mobilized in number to follow the strike which had disrupted departures on vacation. The Unsa-Ferroviaire, the second union force of the company, had praised “encouraging measures”, which will have to be reviewed at the end of the year in the light of inflation, had reported its secretary general, Didier Mathis. The management of the SNCF notably set up a general increase in wages of 1.4 %, accompanied by a bonus of 400 euros for all agents and an increase of 100 euros on a vacation gratuity. In total, the increase is 3.7 % for small wages and 2.2 % for executives, a median of 3.1 %.
