The Parisian musician publishes his third album, which completes his moulting towards the song.

Lomepal likes to shake up the order of things, starting with the codes of the register which saw him born as an artist: rap. It is the same with his third album, bad order, published Friday September 16. Already, in 2017, he had broken the aesthetic rules with his first, Flip, on the cover of which he appeared made up as a woman, displaying his sensitivity in the song Eyes say. In 2018, with Jeannine, he pushed the nail by changing his music towards the song and choosing a theme against the current of the city stories, the life of his family under the influence of a psychotic grandmother. Two albums that won the public votes, the first being certified platinum disk, and the second, diamond disc.
The rapper, of his real name Antoine Valentinelli, 30, cultivates his writing on this new opus, and admits from the first title: “I put the right words in the bad order, I still tangled everything “To listeners to reconstruct the puzzle of his thoughts and to appropriate the meaning of his songs. It leaves clues and references. His album cover, still informative, presents it in silhouette, crushed by the close -up face of a young woman. Lomepal, the sensitive, tells, indeed, in small impressionist touches, a love story that obsesses him, drives him mad and pushes him almost to suicide: “It is nothing that a little cut, obviously I will not “die” [“die”, in English] “, he lets hear about the song roughly.

Music of bad order is resolutely organic, the beats hip-hop on which are based several songs like bad order, 50 °, Etna are played on the drums. Recorded mainly with musicians, the disc mixes heavy atmospheres and unstoppable groove like the refrain of roughly, which recounts this “little cut”, this comedy that is played for the declined lover, which believes itself solid: “I would like ‘We pretend you had not left the house two seasons, “he sings in this song. Lomepal has the genius of hooks. Each song is launched by a verse that irreparably plants the decor, like the irresistible hazard: “You are the love of my life but it is not my only life.”
