I come from a family of nine children and, in siblings, there was always more beautiful, funnier or smarter than me. Suddenly, in primary, I was wise and serious. It was at the college of the Guerinière district, in Caen, that things were spoiled. I was tall, luggish, I did not wear brand sapes, so I understood that the only solution to get closer to the girls would be to multiply the valves, which did not favor my concentration in class …
I grew up in a loving, happy and poor family. I thus discovered very late that it was not in the order of things to go on vacation when we live in Bondy, and that all Parisians did not live in studios, unlike the friends of my parents to whom we visited. But my father always said: “The time you spend taking the lead is the one you could spend happy.” This maxim taught me to enjoy life. We all know the final chapter, then, by then, as much laugh. It was this state of mind that taught me not to lament on my fate.
My mother and father both have a lot of humor and meals were the occasion for long discussions and laughs. They thus wore an united siblings which keeps my feet on the ground. We all go on vacation together every summer in Spain. Finish Bondy! When we see each other, we debate and we are worth until 4 am, based on rather nasty jokes. Besides, the “limit” humor that we find in my films and series scenarios comes from there.
This is why we are all very sharp at the level of the mind, because we grew up in an atmosphere of permanent verbal jousts. Finally, especially my brothers and sisters, because, I have a very zero sense of leaving. I have the staircase, it is undoubtedly the shy child that I was out. My heart will beat very quickly and I’m going to stammer. I prefer to prepare and refine my text.
