A man in his twenties was shot dead by GIGN on Wednesday, July 20, after having killed five people, we learned from sources close to the file. The madman was entrenched in the house where the victims resided, in Dover, in Ain.
Christian Limousin, mayor of this small neighboring town of Ambérieu-en-Bugey, had previously reported to the France-Presse (AFP) agency before being shot down by the gendarmes, the individual was taken from five members of a family, including three children.
The gendarmerie, which was on site in the morning, said that findings were still underway at the beginning of the afternoon, without providing elements for the state of the victims for the time. A large perimeter was stretched by the gendarmerie around the center of this village of a thousand inhabitants, whose access was completed, noted an AFP journalist.
