After the COVID-19, the heat wave again places the bicycle delivery people on the front line to wear meals at home. But it is above all the in progress negotiations that concern unions, starting with the job safeguard plan (PSE) targeting the dismissal of 300 employees out of 800, including 269 deliverers, a year and a half after having them hired. The unions do not appreciate the postponement of the last negotiation meetings which were to take place on July 11.
Two themes are on the agenda: wages and PES, with the closure of Just Eat in twenty cities. “The discussions on the PSE do not move forward, deplores Mr. Rioux.
