Emmanuel Macron kicked off the traditional parade of July 14, reviewing the troops of the French army on the avenue des Champs-Elysées.

The President of the Republic wished this year to honor the nations of Europe this year by scrolling troops from the Baltic countries, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, Bulgaria and Hungary. They will be followed by French troops which have taken part in the reinsurance mission on the eastern flank.
The Air Force will also be flying for the first time above Paris a distance piloted remotely, the Reaper drone. The army will present, for its part, its new armored vehicles, the griffon – successor to the vehicle from the armored front (VAB) – and a recognition machine, the jaguar.
Sixty-five aircraft will fly over the capital, as well as 25 helicopters; 180 vehicles will also parade that 200 horses from the Republican Guard.
After this ceremony, Emmanuel Macron will specify during a television interview his axes of reforms for his five -year term, thus reconnecting with a practice established by former president Valéry Giscard d’Estaing which he had abandoned.
