Filter dams with distribution of leaflets were organized, Monday, June 27 in the morning, at the entrance of several industrial zones everywhere in France at the call of trucking unions which claim wage revaluations.
Dams were in place at dawn in Orleans (Loiret), Miramas (Bouches-du-Rhône) or Lunéville (Meurthe-et-Moselle), according to the General Confederation of Labor (CGT), causing causing slowdowns.

In Hauts-de-France, two filter dams organized at the entrance of two large logistics activity zones, one at the exit of Lille and the other near Arras (Pas-de-Calais ), have caused significant lines of vehicles at peak time.
In Lille, on a highway exit in the direction of Valenciennes, around fifty people in orange vests from the French Democratic Work Confederation (CFDT) were mobilized, blocking the highway exit which leads to the area of Mélantois activity, not far from the airport, noted a journalist from the France-Presse agency.
They distributed leaflets to motorists, criticizing the “ostrich policy” in terms of salary of “transport and government”, despite the “successive increases due to rampant and exponential inflation, a strong shortage employees (…) and the purchasing power that melts as snow in the sun “.

“Most minimum of conventional branches are below the minimum wage,” explained Fabrice Michaud, CGT-Transports delegate, before adding:
“In addition, there is no willingness of employers [to increase wages], because the more wages they give close to the minimum wage, the more they have exemptions.”

All road transport professionals, which include truckers as well as bus drivers, paramedics or fundraising, are called to strike by an inter -union composed of the CGT, the CFDT, Force Ouvrière ( FO), the French Confederation of Christian Workers (CFTC) and the French Confederation of General Coating of Cadres (CFE-CGC).
