A year after the publication of the past significant issue published The release of the postal client thunderbird 102 , developed by the forces of the community and based on Mozilla technology. The new issue is classified as versions with a long term of support, the updates for which are produced within a year. Thunderbird 102 is based on the code base of the ESR release Firefox 102. The release is available only for changes :
- A client is built for a decentralized communication system Matrix. The implementation supports such advanced opportunities as through encryption, sending invitations, postponing participants and editing sent messages.
- A new master of import and export of user profiles has been added, supporting the transfer of messages, settings, filters, address books and accounts from various configurations, including providing migration with Outlook and Seamonkey. The new master is implemented in the form of a separate tab. The possibility of exporting the current profile is added to the data importing tab.
