Jeffrey Epstein case: Ghislaine Maxwell sentenced to 20 years in prison for sexual crimes

The former British worldly worldly Ghislaine Maxwell was sentenced on Tuesday, June 28, to twenty years in prison for the sexual crimes of which she was found guilty at the end of December. Pursued for six charges of sexual crimes, five of whom were selected and in particular the most serious: trafficking for young girls for the benefit of the ex-American financial year Jeffrey Epstein.

Between 1994 and 2004, she had notably provided minors to the latter, who was her former companion, so that he sexually abused it. Epstein died in prison in 2019.

During the trial, the accusation had portrayed him as a “sophisticated predatory” which acted with full knowledge of the facts to attract and seduce young girls, sometimes 14 years, and deliver them to Epstein in his Florida residences, of Manhattan or New Mexico.

The accused, she had pleaded not guilty and had only expressed herself once at the trial to reaffirm that she was innocent.
