They were taken during one of the interviews between the two men and the president.
During the month of December, Donald Trump organized a real harassment of the high hierarchy of the Ministry of Justice (DOJ), in order to push her to give a varnish of legitimacy to her lies on electoral fraud. Jeffrey Rosen and Richard Donoghue resisted and foiled sabotage. This framework at the Ministry of Justice, a specialist in environmental issues, had put himself at the service of Donald Trump, in December, by short-circuiting his own hierarchy. Violating all the principles of work – the ministry acts independently compared to the president – it was in direct contact with the White House. On this January 3, the time for the big confrontation had therefore arrived, in the oval office. It was a Sunday. Richard Donoghue was not prepared there.
A few hours earlier, he had organized a conference call with the highest officials of the ministry, who had confirmed that they would all resign if the Attorney General was dismissed. Richard Donoghue, twenty years in the armed forces, has a certain idea of the protocol. He apologized by entering the president’s office, jeans, military t-shirt and dirty boots. Then he was offensive.
