Tiktok ventures for the first time on the traditional music market. The social network has compiled part of the greatest musical successes, revealed on the platform and become viral, to make it an album, announced the social network on Friday 24 June.

The compilation will be released on CD and vinyl. Six singles of the album, produced in collaboration with Warner Classics, will be broadcast on streaming platforms on July 8. The 18 songs of the full album Tiktok Classics: same and viral hits will be available in August on streaming platforms and in stores.

“Music is at the heart of the Tiktok experience. With [this album], we want to help make all musical genres accessible to our platform,” said Michael Kümmerle, Tiktok musical operations in Allmagne, Austria and Switzerland.
