Michel Piron, the owner of the pornographic site Jacquie et Michel, was indicted on Friday, June 17, for complicity in rape and deals with a human being in an organized gang. He was placed under judicial supervision and was therefore able to emerge from the court, while the prosecution had requested his placement in pre -trial detention during a public hearing before the liberty and detention judge (JLD).
M.Piron had been placed in police custody, Tuesday, June 14, as part of an investigation by the first judicial police district in Paris. Three other men – a former actor and two former directors – were also indicted in this file for rapes, complicity in rape, pimping in organized gang and deals with a human being in an organized gang. One of them, placed in pre -trial detention, is also prosecuted for complicity in rape with act of torture and barbarism. On the other two, one was incarcerated awaiting a delayed debate on his detention, and the other placed under judicial supervision.
Mr. Piron’s wife, arrested at the same time as her husband on Tuesday, was placed under the intermediate status of assisted witness. It therefore emerged free on Friday from the Paris judicial court. 2>

Before the JLD, the representative of the public prosecutor has described a “system of pimping and trafficking in human beings”, with “demolished women”. “We train them in a trap,” she said, denouncing an “operating mode that encloses the victims in this system”.
Defense lawyers cast out “two years of procedure” during which “no act of investigation” had intervened. “The vision of the public prosecutor is to say that porn is only a form of violence,” said one of the lawyers. “On 7,000 women [filmed], there are seven complainants,” said M e Yves Levano, lawyer for M. Piron.
