The Toulouse University Hospital Center (CHU) joins the list of establishments whose emergencies work in degraded mode. The adult emergencies of the Purpan hospital will only be open to “vital emergencies” from Monday June 13 in the evening, announced Sunday the CHU.

According to hospital unions, the CHU management also requested the Regional Health Agency (ARS) of Occitanie for the establishment of a white plan. “Unacceptable conditions”
Monday’s strike day, notably at the call by the majority union CGT (General Confederation of Labor), is organized less than a week after a strong mobilization of unions and hospital collectives throughout France to claim wage and workforce increases.
“The contempt continues towards emergency staff.
