A man was indicted in Toulon as part of an investigation into bites, the Toulon prosecutor’s office said on Sunday June 5. An investigating judge opened a judicial information, in particular for “aggravated violence by weapon [the syringe] and by premeditation”. The 20 -year -old suspect and residing in Toulon, was thus placed in pre -trial detention, said the city’s prosecutor, Samuel Finielz.
About twenty spectators who attended the recording of the program “La Chanson de l’énée” on the beaches of the Mourillon, in Toulon, told the police that they had been victims of bites during the concert. “Several complaints have already been filed and others have not yet been formalized,” said the prosecutor.
One of the victims, a safety agent who worked on the site, was hospitalized. “She was the victim of discomfort, but we have not yet been able to determine whether this discomfort was linked to a harmful substance introduced into the syringe or the stressful situation she had just known,” said the magistrate .
