Developers of the XFCE presented Significant release of the terminal emulator Xfce Terminal 1.0.0 . The new release was prepared by the new accompanying, who picked up the development after the project remained uncovered in 2020. The program code is written in Si language and extends under the GPLv2 license.
The release is also notable to change the numbering scheme of versions. As part of the branch of 1.1.x, experimental issues will be formed, on the basis of which a stable release of 1.2.0 will be formed. In the case of significant changes, such as porting on GTK4, or after the gradual achievement of the numbering 1.9.x is planned to form a branch 2.0.
