Ethiopian Deso Gelmisa won, Sunday, April 3, the Paris marathon, including French Morhad Amdeni took the e place, with a new record of France.
Gelmisa has established itself at the end of the 42,195 km with a chronograph of 2 h 05 min 07 s, in front of its compatriot Seifu Tura (2 h 05 min 10 s) and Amdeouni (2 h 05 min 22 s). AMDOUNI has improved by more than a minute the French record established by Benoît Zwierzchiewski at the 2003 edition of this Paris marathon (2 hours 6 min 36 s).
The Kenyan Judith Jeptum won the Paris marathon with a chrono of 2 h 19 min 48 s, new record of the event. Jeptum has preceded two Ethiopian, Fanti Jimma, 2 e (2 h 22 min 52 s), and Besu Sado, 3 e (2 h 23 min 16 s).
Jeptum, 26, has improved more than a minute the previous record of the event (2 h 20 min 55 s) that dated from 2017.
